Job Responsibilities
1. Develop strategies for the collection, sampling, labeling, processing and utilization of massive data sets to improve the performance of machine learning models that support next-generation e-commerce platforms;
2. Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and automation systems for machine learning and performance evaluation;
3. Analyze massive data and explore its characteristics, propose technical solutions for machine learning and performance evaluation, and report results internally and externally;
4. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and business teams to research and implement cutting-edge technologies for next-generation AI services.
Required Experience/Skills
1. Have a PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience;
2. At least 2 years of working experience in data science or related fields, mastering the theoretical knowledge of machine learning (deep learning, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, etc.);
3. Able to use Python (numpy, scipy, scikit, pandas) for software development, and have experience in database operation;
4. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.;
5. Familiar with Git, AWS, GCP and other mainstream development tools and cloud service environments;
6. Achieve CEFR B2 (independent use) level (required) in English.
Priority Experience/Skills
1. 5 years or more of working experience in data science or related fields;
2. Experience in analyzing petabyte-scale mass databases;
3. Have the ability to build large numbersdataset of experience;
4. Experience in building and managing infrastructure using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.;
5. Have business-level Japanese proficiency and can read, write, and listen fluently in Japanese;
6. Japanese to CEFR B2 (independent use) level
